I have written for many magazines, including The Walrus, ROB, Broadview, This, Canadian Living, Geez and Today's Parent. My first book, Highrise (Firefly, 2019), was nominated for a 2020 Forest of Reading Award.
While my interests are broad, my passion is to write about human rights issues both at home and overseas. I have travelled the globe to cover stories in Niger, Uganda, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico. I've also been fortunate enough to win some awards along the way.
